Description
UI misrepresentation in UI in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to spoof UI elements via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A UI misrepresentation vulnerability has been identified in Google Chrome versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. This issue allows remote attackers to spoof UI elements by leveraging social engineering, through a crafted HTML page. The vulnerability arises because the Cast dialog does not properly block fullscreen transitions, enabling malicious pages to hide browser UI and create a fake security context.
Users should update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
