Description
Observable discrepancy in Navigation in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome's navigation handling prior to version 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data by exploiting a flaw in how error documents are processed. This issue arises from a bypass in the history management of error pages, enabling attackers to use the history length as an oracle to infer sensitive URL information from iframes blocked by security measures such as X-Frame-Options or Content Security Policy.
Users should update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
