Description
Improper input validation in FileAPI in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome's FileAPI component, present in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36, allowed remote code execution outside the sandbox. This was achieved through improper input validation, which enabled a compromised renderer process to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page.
Users should update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
