Description
Clickjacking in TrustedWebActivities in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a local attacker to spoof address bar via a co-installed app. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A clickjacking vulnerability has been identified in Google Chrome's Trusted Web Activities (TWAs) on Android, in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to spoof the address bar by overlaying a fake UI, using a co-installed app. The issue arises from an improperly validated duration parameter for splash screen animations, which can be exploited to keep a spoofed address bar visible while user interactions are redirected to a malicious website.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
