Description
Confused deputy in Prerender in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A confused deputy vulnerability has been identified in the Prerender component of Google Chrome, affecting versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker who has compromised the renderer process to potentially bypass web origin policy by using a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later to address this vulnerability.
