CVE-2026-87437 Details
Description
Information leak in Frames in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to leak sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome in the Frames component, prior to version 153.0.8010.36, allows remote attackers to leak sensitive information by exploiting a crafted HTML page. The issue arises because violation reports for 'Connection-Allowlist' can unintentionally transmit raw document URLs and blocked resource URLs, including sensitive fragments such as OAuth tokens, to reporting collectors. This information leak occurs through the Reporting API, where the inner JSON report body fails to sanitize URL fragments before delivery.
Users should update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
