Description
Information leak in ControlledFrame in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability allowing information leakage has been identified in Google Chrome versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. This issue arises within the Isolated Web App (IWA) implementation of `<controlledframe>`, where custom content scripts can unintentionally leak to sibling guest processes. A remote attacker who has compromised the renderer process can exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive information via a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
