Description
The Bookly WordPress plugin before 28.3 does not properly verify a customer's identity before updating their stored details, allowing unauthenticated attackers who know a customer's primary identifier to overwrite that customer's stored personal information such as name, email and address.
An authentication bypass vulnerability has been identified in the Bookly WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 28.3. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers who know a customer's primary identifier to overwrite that customer's personal information, including name, email, and address. This issue arises because the plugin fails to properly verify a customer's identity before allowing updates to stored details.
Users are advised to update the Bookly WordPress plugin to version 28.3 or later.
