CVE-2026-86823 Details
Description
The Newsletter WordPress plugin before 9.3.7 does not validate the destination of the redirect performed after a public subscription action, allowing unauthenticated attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external sites and to disclose a subscriber token that grants access to that subscriber record's front-end actions.
A vulnerability exists in the Newsletter WordPress plugin in versions prior to 9.3.7. The issue arises because the plugin fails to validate the destination of redirects after a public subscription action. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external sites and to disclose a subscriber token, which can be used to access that subscriber's front-end actions.
