Description
The WP Highlight Box WordPress plugin through 1.0 does not escape some shortcode attributes before outputting them in a page where the shortcode is embedded, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WP Highlight Box WordPress plugin, affecting versions through 1.0. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly escape certain shortcode attributes before displaying them on pages where the shortcode is used. This flaw enables users with contributor roles and higher to execute stored cross-site scripting attacks.
