Description
The Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks WordPress plugin before 5.0.41 does not perform an authorization or post-visibility check on a REST API route that returns the custom field keys of a given post, allowing unauthenticated users to disclose the custom field key names of arbitrary posts, including private, draft, pending, scheduled and password-protected posts.
A vulnerability exists in the Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks WordPress plugin in versions prior to 5.0.41. The issue arises because the plugin fails to implement proper authorization or post-visibility checks on a REST API route that exposes custom field keys of posts. This oversight allows unauthenticated users to access and disclose the names of custom field keys from any post, including those that are private, draft, pending, scheduled, or password-protected.
Users are advised to update the Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks WordPress plugin to version 5.0.41 or later.
