Description
Unprotected transport of credentials vulnerability in syslink software AG Avantra on Linux, Windows allows Sniffing Attacks. This issue affects Avantra: before 25.3.0.
A vulnerability exists in Avantra software by Syslink, on both Linux and Windows platforms, prior to version 25.3.0. This vulnerability involves the unprotected transport of credentials, which can be intercepted through sniffing attacks.
Users are advised to upgrade to Avantra version 25.3.x. Additionally, remove '${password}' from the email template 'NewUserEmailPassword' setting in the Avantra UI.
