CVE-2026-86710 Details
Description
The Login with QR WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not verify that the code used to log a user in is one it issued, matching any stored user metadata value instead, which allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including administrators.
An authentication bypass vulnerability has been identified in the Login with QR WordPress plugin, affecting versions through 1.0.0. The vulnerability arises because the plugin does not properly verify the authenticity of the login codes it issues. Instead, it matches any code against stored user metadata, allowing unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including those with administrative privileges.
