Description
A vulnerability was detected in aircheng-org iWebShop-5 up to 5.15. This affects the function Login of the file controllers/systemseller.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument Name results in improper authentication. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
An authentication bypass vulnerability has been identified in aircheng iWebShop-5 versions through 5.15. The issue resides in the system seller login function within the file controllers/systemseller.php. The vulnerability arises from improper handling of the 'seller_name' or 'mobile' arguments, allowing locked sellers to bypass authentication checks. This issue can be exploited remotely, and the details of the vulnerability are now public.
The vulnerability can be addressed by modifying the login query to correctly prioritize the 'is_lock' check and by enforcing lock status checks in the application logic after retrieving the seller data.
