Description
OS Command Injection vulnerability in Rapid7 InsightConnect RPM Plugin on Linux allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via the repo, key, or name parameters due to insufficient input sanitization in shell command construction.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the Rapid7 InsightConnect RPM Plugin for Linux. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands. The issue arises from inadequate input validation in the construction of shell commands, specifically related to the repo, key, and name parameters.
