Description
OS Command Injection vulnerability in Rapid7 InsightConnect SQLmap Plugin on Linux allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via the api_host or api_port parameters during connection configuration due to insufficient input validation.
An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Rapid7 InsightConnect SQLmap Plugin for Linux. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands. The issue arises from inadequate input validation of the api_host and api_port parameters during connection configuration.
Users can update to SQLmap Plugin version 2.0.1, which addresses the input validation issue that allowed OS command injection via the api_host and api_port connection parameters.
