Description
A flaw has been found in itsourcecode Sales and Inventory System 1.0. The impacted element is the function mysqli_query of the file /pages/us_searchfrm.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument ID can lead to sql injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in itsourcecode Sales and Inventory System version 1.0. The issue arises in the file '/pages/us_searchfrm.php', where the 'id' parameter is manipulated and directly concatenated into a SQL query without proper validation or use of prepared statements. This flaw allows authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary SQL code, potentially leading to unauthorized data access or modification.
It is recommended to replace dynamic SQL query construction with prepared statements and parameter binding. Additionally, the 'id' parameter should be validated as an integer before use, and proper server-side authorization checks should be applied.
