In JetBrains YouTrack before 2026.1.14047 a missing escalation check let a user with project update permissions grant themselves Project Admin
A vulnerability in JetBrains YouTrack versions prior to 2026.1.14047 allows users with project update permissions to escalate their privileges to Project Admin. This issue arises from a missing escalation check, which could be exploited by manipulating project permissions.
Users can update to YouTrack version 2026.1.14047 or later to address this vulnerability.
