Description
Lara Dashboard before 1.3.2 fails to authorize the MarketplaceModuleBrowser installModule Livewire action, allowing non-Superadmin administrators to install modules. Attackers can download and auto-activate arbitrary PHP modules from the marketplace over unsigned HTTP requests, achieving remote code execution.
A vulnerability exists in Lara Dashboard versions prior to 1.3.2, where the application fails to properly authorize the installation of modules through the MarketplaceModuleBrowser Livewire action. This oversight allows non-Superadmin administrators to install and automatically activate arbitrary PHP modules from the marketplace via unsigned HTTP requests. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to remote code execution, as the installed module could execute malicious code on the server.
Users are advised to update Lara Dashboard to version 1.3.2 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
