CVE-2026-86100 Details
Description
Camaleon CMS versions 2.7.5 through 2.9.1 fail to validate redirect targets when fetching remote files in the Upload from URL media feature. Authenticated attackers can supply URLs that pass initial validation but redirect to internal network addresses, allowing server-side request forgery to internal services.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in Camaleon CMS versions 2.7.5 prior to 2.9.2. The issue arises in the 'Upload from URL' media feature, where the application fails to properly validate redirect targets when fetching remote files. This allows authenticated attackers to supply URLs that, while initially appearing valid, can redirect to internal network addresses and access internal services.
Users are advised to update to Camaleon CMS version 2.9.2 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
