Description
Inappropriate implementation in Media in Google Chrome on iOS prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in the Media component of Google Chrome on iOS, prior to version 148.0.7778.168, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out-of-bounds memory read. This issue arose from an inappropriate implementation that could be exploited via a crafted HTML page, potentially leading to memory corruption or other unintended behavior.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
