Description
Integer overflow in Codecs in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted video file. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
An integer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the Codecs component of Google Chrome on Windows, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.168. This vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to escape the sandbox by exploiting a crafted video file.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
