Description
Out of bounds write in Codecs in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted video file. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability allowing an out-of-bounds write has been identified in the Codecs component of Google Chrome on Mac, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.168. This vulnerability could enable a remote attacker to perform a sandbox escape by using a crafted video file.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
