Description
The Tutor LMS WordPress plugin before 4.0.8 does not check that a user has access to a course before returning its lesson discussion content, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to read comments from courses they are not enrolled in, including comments awaiting moderation.
A vulnerability in the Tutor LMS WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 4.0.8, allows authenticated users, such as subscribers, to access lesson discussion comments from courses they are not enrolled in. The plugin fails to verify user access to courses before retrieving lesson comments, including those pending moderation.
Users are advised to update the Tutor LMS WordPress plugin to version 4.0.8 or later.
