Description
Google Merchant Center Feed (gmfeed) module for PrestaShop is vulnerable to unauthenticated arbitrary file write in the feed.php endpoint. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted request that controls the output file name, path, extension, and content through request parameters. Due to the lack of authentication and input validation, the request is processed successfully, allowing an attacker to write and execute arbitrary PHP code, resulting in remote code execution (RCE). This issue was fixed in version 2.3.9.
A vulnerability exists in the MyPresta Google Merchant Center Feed module for PrestaShop, specifically in versions 1.9.1 through 2.3.8. The issue allows unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary files via the feed.php endpoint. Exploitation involves sending a crafted request that manipulates the output file name, path, extension, and content. The lack of authentication and proper input validation enables the execution of arbitrary PHP code, leading to remote code execution.
Users are advised to uninstall the vulnerable version of the Google Merchant Center Feed module, ensuring that the option to delete module files is selected. After removing the old version, version 2.4.1 should be installed. This update is available on the MyPresta.eu product page or through the user's MyPresta.eu account.
