Description
Out of bounds write in Media in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability allowing an out-of-bounds write has been identified in the Media component of Google Chrome. This issue affects versions prior to 148.0.7778.168. The vulnerability could allow a remote attacker, who has compromised the renderer process, to perform a sandbox escape by using a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
