Description
Out of bounds read in FileSystem in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been identified in the FileSystem component of Google Chrome on Mac, affecting versions prior to 148.0.7778.168. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to potentially access sensitive information from process memory by convincing users to perform specific UI gestures while interacting with a crafted HTML page.
