Description
Out of bounds read in UI in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds read in the user interface (UI) component of Google Chrome has been identified. This issue affects Google Chrome versions prior to 148.0.7778.168. The vulnerability allows a remote attacker who has compromised the renderer process to access potentially sensitive information from process memory by using a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
