Description
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in ReadingMode in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass site Isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome's Reading Mode on Mac, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.168, allowed remote attackers to bypass site isolation protections. This was achieved through insufficient validation of untrusted input, enabling the compromise of the renderer process via a specially crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
