Description
Heap buffer overflow in Codecs in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted video file. (Chromium security severity: High)
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the Codecs component of Google Chrome. This issue affects versions prior to 148.0.7778.168. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within a sandboxed environment by using a crafted video file.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
