CVE-2026-85174 Details
Description
SiYuan before v3.8.2 logs API tokens from query parameters in plaintext to an accessible log file when full-text search requests exceed timing thresholds. Authenticated attackers can read the log file via the getFile endpoint to recover admin API tokens and gain permanent administrative access.
A vulnerability in SiYuan versions prior to 3.8.2 allows authenticated attackers to access API tokens through an unprotected log file. The issue arises because the application logs API tokens from query parameters in plaintext when full-text search requests exceed 15 seconds. This log file can be read by any authenticated user, enabling the recovery of admin API tokens and granting permanent administrative access.
Users should update to SiYuan version 3.8.2 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
