Description
The Video Player for YouTube WordPress plugin before 2.1.0 does not properly sanitise and escape user-supplied input before using it in a SQL statement, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to perform SQL injection attacks and read arbitrary data from the database.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the Video Player for YouTube WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 2.1.0. The vulnerability arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied input before incorporating it into SQL statements. This flaw allows users with the Contributor role and above to execute SQL injection attacks and access arbitrary data from the database.
Users are advised to update the Video Player for YouTube WordPress plugin to version 2.1.0 or later.
