Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ("Cross-site Scripting") vulnerability in Drupal Colorbox Inline allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This issue affects Colorbox Inline: from 0.0.0 before 2.1.1.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the Drupal Colorbox Inline module, affecting versions prior to 2.1.1. The issue arises from improper sanitization of the data-colorbox-inline attribute value, which is passed to jQuery, allowing for XSS exploitation. This vulnerability requires a user role with permission to include HTML tags with specific data attributes.
Users of the Colorbox Inline module for Drupal 8.x should upgrade to version 2.1.1.
