Description
An access issue was addressed with additional sandbox restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to bypass sandbox restrictions.
A vulnerability exists in macOS Golden Gate 27 and macOS Tahoe 26.7, allowing apps to potentially bypass sandbox restrictions. This issue arises from a validation problem in the entitlement verification process, which has been addressed with improved validation of process entitlements. The vulnerability could enable a sandboxed app to access restricted files or sensitive user data, or to break out of its sandbox and execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
