Description
The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
A vulnerability exists in multiple macOS versions, including Golden Gate 27, Sequoia 15.8, and Tahoe 26.7. This vulnerability allows an application to process a maliciously crafted image, leading to unexpected system termination. The issue arises from improper memory handling, specifically an out-of-bounds write, which can be exploited by manipulating image files.
