Description
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. Processing a maliciously crafted disk image may lead to unexpected app termination.
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been identified in the Disk Images component of Apple macOS. This issue affects several different versions and stems from insufficient bounds checking when processing disk images. As a result, a maliciously crafted disk image could lead to unexpected application termination.
Users can update to macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, or macOS Tahoe 26.7 to address this vulnerability.
