Description
A logic issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
A logic issue in the CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) component of macOS Golden Gate 27, Sequoia 15.8, and Tahoe 26.7 allows an application to bypass Gatekeeper checks, potentially leading to unauthorized access or execution of malicious actions. This vulnerability arises from insufficient validation in the handling of certain files or applications, which could be exploited to manipulate the expected behavior of the system's security mechanisms.
