Description
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. Connecting to a malicious NFS server may cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory.
A vulnerability exists in the macOS kernel's handling of Network File System (NFS) connections. An out-of-bounds read can occur when connecting to a malicious NFS server, potentially leading to unexpected system termination or corruption of kernel memory. This issue has been addressed with improved bounds checking. The vulnerability is present in multiple macOS versions, including Golden Gate 27, Sequoia 15.8, and Tahoe 26.7.
