Description
Missing authorization in FileSystem in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.75 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process and leveraged social engineering to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability exists in Google Chrome in the FileSystem component, prior to version 152.0.7977.75, due to missing authorization. This flaw allows a remote attacker, who has compromised the renderer process and used social engineering, to access sensitive information through a specially crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 152.0.7977.75 or later to address this vulnerability.
