Description
The SUMIT Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 4.0.0 does not verify with the payment provider that a payment notification is genuine before marking the corresponding order as paid, allowing unauthenticated users to mark a pending order paid without completing payment.
A vulnerability exists in the SUMIT Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin in versions prior to 4.0.0. The plugin fails to verify the authenticity of payment notifications from the payment provider before marking orders as paid. This flaw allows unauthenticated users to falsely mark pending orders as paid without completing the actual payment.
Users are advised to update the SUMIT Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin to version 4.0.0 or later.
