Description
The Directorist: AI-Powered Business Directory, Listings & Classified Ads WordPress plugin before 8.9.5 does not validate a user-supplied URL before fetching it server-side, allowing users with the subscriber role and above to make the server issue requests to internal addresses.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Directorist: AI-Powered Business Directory, Listings & Classified Ads WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 8.9.5. The vulnerability arises because the plugin does not properly validate user-supplied URLs before fetching them server-side. This flaw allows users with subscriber roles and above to make the server send requests to internal addresses.
Users are advised to update the Directorist WordPress plugin to version 8.9.5 or later.
