Description
The ePayco Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 8.4.7 does not properly verify the authenticity of payment confirmation requests, allowing unauthenticated attackers to mark orders as paid without a valid gateway signature.
A vulnerability exists in the ePayco Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin in versions prior to 8.4.7. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly authenticate payment confirmation requests. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to mark orders as paid without a valid gateway signature. The vulnerability requires WooCommerce to be active and the ePayco gateway to be enabled in its default live mode with a valid secret key configured.
Users are advised to update the ePayco Payment Gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin to version 8.4.7 or later.
