Description
The Bold Page Builder WordPress plugin before 5.9.9 does not sanitise and escape a shortcode attribute before outputting it in an HTML attribute, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user views the affected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Bold Page Builder WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 5.9.9. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape shortcode attributes before rendering them in HTML. This flaw allows users with Contributor roles and above to inject arbitrary scripts that execute when the affected page is viewed.
Users are advised to update the Bold Page Builder WordPress plugin to version 5.9.9 or later.
