Description
SolarView Compact contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Schedule Settings and Mail Send Setting. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary OS command may be executed by an attacker who can log in to the product.
A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the SolarView Compact application, specifically in the Schedule Settings and Mail Send Setting features. This vulnerability allows an attacker who is logged into the application to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the user's web browser. The issue affects SolarView Compact SV-CPT-MC310 and SV-CPT-MC310F models, both of which are prior to version 9.00.
Users are advised to update the application to version 9.00 or later. The latest firmware can be downloaded from the Contec website. For those unable to update, it is recommended to disconnect the product from network lines, install a firewall to control communications, and configure network access within a trusted closed network.
