Description
Cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in CPSL-08P1EN. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary script may be executed on a logged-in user's web browser.
A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Contec CONPROSYS IO-Link Master model CPSL-08P1EN, all versions prior to 2.3.10. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the web browser of a logged-in user.
Users are advised to update the firmware to version 2.3.10 or later. The latest firmware can be downloaded from the Contec website. For instructions on updating the firmware, refer to the product manual or Help documentation.
