Description
Cross-site request forgery vulnerability exists in multiple Contec products. If a user views a specially crafted page while logged in to the affected product, unintended operations may be performed.
A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in multiple products within the Contec PC-HELPER series, specifically in the Wireless I/O DIO-0404RY-LWF and DIO-0404RY-LWF-US models, both of which are prior to version 1.01.00. This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform unintended actions on behalf of a user who is logged into the affected product.
Users are advised to update the firmware to version 1.01.00 or later. The latest firmware can be downloaded from the Contec website. For products intended for the Japanese market, the firmware download page is available in Japanese.
