Description
The BE REST Endpoints WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not perform any authorization check before allowing widgets to be read, created, updated and deleted, and does not sanitize the values it stores in them, allowing unauthenticated users to inject arbitrary web scripts which will execute in the browser of any user visiting the site.
A vulnerability in the BE REST Endpoints WordPress plugin, affecting versions through 1.0.0, allows unauthenticated users to read, create, update, and delete widgets without any authorization checks. The plugin also fails to sanitize the values stored in widgets, enabling the injection of arbitrary web scripts that execute in the browsers of users visiting the site. Additionally, unauthenticated users can access the content of widgets removed from sidebars by the site owner.
