Description
The IPGP Visitors Origin WordPress plugin before 1.6 does not sanitise or escape user input before reflecting it back in the HTTP response, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform Reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks against users who are tricked into submitting a crafted request.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the IPGP Visitors Origin WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 1.6. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize or escape user input before displaying it in the HTTP response. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute reflected cross-site scripting attacks on users who are deceived into sending a crafted request.
Users are advised to update the IPGP Visitors Origin WordPress plugin to version 1.6 or later.
