Description
Incomplete comparison with missing factors in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network.
A vulnerability in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass the Workspace Trust security feature over a network. This issue arises from an incomplete comparison that fails to consider all relevant factors, enabling the bypass of restrictions that normally prevent untrusted workspaces from executing commands or code without prior approval from the user.
Users can download the security update for Visual Studio Code from the official Visual Studio Code website. The vulnerability is addressed in version 1.136.2.
