Description
Server-side request forgery (ssrf) in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in Visual Studio Code. This vulnerability allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass network access restrictions enforced by the Visual Studio Code agent, potentially accessing resources that the policy is designed to block. The issue arises from the agent's ability to process content that includes specially crafted URLs, which can be used to exploit the vulnerability. User interaction is required to trigger the exploitation, as it involves running the agent against attacker-controlled content.
